Ruger 77 .250 Savage

I just acquired a Ruger M77 in .250 Savage. It has a 20" blued thin barrel with the tang safety. Stock is walnut with a black forend tip and has the red ruger buttpad. I assume this is the Ultra light? I am wondering if anyone can provide any additional info to confirm and any info on when Ruger put these out and how common they may be. Serial # is 770-050XX. Thanks for any additional information provided.
