Can anyone give me some info on a Arminius 38 special revolver. I cannot find anything about it. My book notes that it was previously manufactured in Zella-Mehlis Germany from 1922-1970. This one has a ribbed barrel.

Welcome to the board. Before the experts tell you- I'll tell ya. They propably are going to need more info than that. Although there probably isn't much more. Maybe the overall length, Barrel length, markings, and the amount of finish presant(% wise). Has it been refinished? Quality pics are a great help.

Could you have gotten the date turned around? 1857 maybe. Warner pistols according to Flayderman's Guide were made earlier than 1875.
