1100 20 magnum/870 20ga magnum same barrel?

I have a 1100 LW 20 ga 3" magnum I have been hunting a barrel for,One of the GB members mailed me he had a 870 LW wingmaster 3" magnum barrel he wanted to sell and they would interchange.I dont see how but thought I would ask just in case I'm missing something

  1100 and 870 barrels will not interchange.

  1100 is gas operated.

  WILL NOT WORK. THE 1100 HAS THE 'GAS" PORT AND WILL NO FIT ON THE 870
  
  I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.
