define "HURT" .Will it blow up in your hand? NO. Will it last as long as it would if you shot regular loads? Again NO.Why not practice with regular loads and use +p as carry. Point of impact will be very close at anything less then 25 yards if you shoot someone at over 25 yards they probablely won't let you keep pistol while in jail. Light loads are easy on gun and shooter. quote:"praise the hardball gun" 0 -
the reason i ask this is because aim has the hungarian 40 sw ammo pretty reasonable but it is +p.where can i find 40sw reasonable for plinking?thanks don 0 -
Hi ddhotbot,
Definitely ! Kimber is one of the most robust brands of 1911 clones on the market. I own a Gold Match in stainless in 45 ACP and shoot some +p ammo from time to time. It handles everything !
You own a great gun.

I would suggest puting in a heavier recoil spring. It is cheap insurance. 0 -

Walmart has been selling Winchester "White Box" .40 S & W in 100 round boxes. Last time I bought some, round here it was running $16.00 +, including tax.
