Sig Sauer P225 vs. P239
What are the major advantages/disadvantages of both models of SIG weapons for concealed carry use? I prefer 9mm chambered weapons (personal preference I guess).
From what I know (which is little) both use single-stack cartriges, and only the P239 comes in a variety of calibers (9mm, .40 and .357).
Anything else I should know? Opinions wanted as well...

The P.239 is noticeably smaller than the P.225.It offers a one piece milled slide in blackened stainless steel.I own several SIGS and the P.239 in 9mm is the one on my CCW...Incredibly accurate, and totally reliable.It has no downside. Of course, I am a diehard SIG fan.[8D]

If the P239 has a one-piece milled slide, what does the P225 offer?
As a point of reference, I currently use a Beretta 92FS Compact L Type M (single stack, 8+1, 9mm) although I find it a bit heavy for confortable conceled carry...0 -
The P225 is a compact version of the P220. Both feature a stamped heavy metal slide with a pinned breech insert. This results in a larger profile slide.and a larger frame as well. The larger size is more manageable to larger hands.Keep in mind...the P239 is not a lightweight. Be sure and handle all of the models before purchase!!!
