gas billy
A friend had offered to him a "gas billy" I'm trying to help him with. It is 9" long, stainless rear half and steel lined leather front half. To cock it you pull a knob on the back and to fire it there is a button on the side with a sliding safety. It is made by Federal Laboratories in Phil, Pa with three patent dates in 1925. Any info would be appreciated as to history and value. To me it appears CLASS III.

We've had a number of threads on this subject. If it's able to physically chamber a cartridge or shell for a firearm, i.e. .32,.38,.410, 12 Gauge, etc etc. It Is.

A 12 ga. will fit but not snug, it is quite loose. I could not even imagine any IDIOT (federal employee or not) to even think of firing it this way.
Thanks again,
lance
