Makarov double feeds

I`ve got an East German Makarov that occasionally will double feed. I have used 4 different clips and it dosen`t matter which one I use. Any suggestions besides a good cleaning as to what might be the problem?

  Sounds like the Ears on the Magazine.....This seems to Occur when magazines are left loaded for any length of time....A Good Smith might be able to help You fix the Mag Ears.....
