FG 42 FALLSCHIRMJAEGERGEWEHR HELP

I ran into a guy today who said about ten or twelve years ago he bought a replica of a FG42 fallschirmjaegergewehr. It was made in japan and he thinks the companies name is hudson? It's made of metal and all the parts move and it's still in the original box. He has to dig it out and is going to show it to me. Has anyone ever heard of these and what do they sell for? Can you still buy them them new? And if so where can you buy them? Be great full for any help Thankyou Beltfed
