kimber gold match 2 stainless value?

a friend i work with wants too sell me a kimber gold match 2 in stainless that he bought a couple months ago, but has changed his mind and wants a boat instead.the dealer he got it from told him that the first owner never shot it,my friend hasnt shot it either.it is chambered in 40sw ,i can buy it for $800.what do you guys think?good price?are these good guns?thanks don

  I have a Stainless Gold Match in .45 ACP...It has been a excellent performer for over 5 years....If the pistol is as you described (unfired), I believe $800.00 would be a great buy.....

  I personally think it would be a better deal if were chambered in .45 ACP, but that price is probably $300 or so under a new one.
