tang sight expert needed

just got two vintage tang sights for winchesters-on Marbles, one Lyman. I noticed that aperture threads are different sizes- I had always heard that eyepieces were interchangeable but apparently are not. Is this true? Also what are the tang screw thread sizes.Thanx in advance.
