Osprey night vision scope

Just want to know how good these Russian scopes are.

Good, bad, repairability, whatever. Seen one in third generation that was factory repaired that might be worth the $$$$ if the feedback is favorable.

Welcome any and all suggestions on this or possible one that is worth the money.

  Hey bolthandle,
  Osprey is one of the better known names in night vision,however they are not near as high of quality as ITT or N-Sight. But if you can get a 3rd gen for a good price I would say go for it. You really cant beat a great deal on NV, especially when it comes to 3rd gen. At least its a known name. Sometimes you have to really scrape the bottom of the barrel to get anything more than 2nd gen for less than $1200. Hope this info helps!

  before you buy, do some investigation work on where if any you can get repairs done???? you may never need it, but i have a very expensive set of russian binos, that i cant find anyone to do repairs or even to check them out!!! maybe because the ones you are looking at, were factory rebuilt, you may have your repair source!!!! ASK!!! also see about WARRANTY!!!
