any comments on the hatfield rifle..does anyone know the twist rate in the 54?

  Hatfield built quality smokepoles. May be able to look up the twist rate for you if no one jumps on it.

  Can't help, sorry. My reference only lists the .36 cal squirrel rifle at 1:40, not the earlier larger calibers.
