Ruger Flat Top!!
Hey guys;
this is just ole BigBarn again with another question about one of the guns that I have in my safe. I read all of the gun magazines, and in doing so, i run into the phrase, "Ruger Flat Top" and I have no idea what the hell they are talking about! Being as I own three Ruger revolvers, I thought that it might be a good thing if I knew what a "Ruger Flat Top" is!
So, experts, enlightern me on this subject!

on the old Ruger 3 screw Blackhawks the top strap was completly flat , no rased bump infront of the rear sight ! i believe this only aplies to the 357mag and the 44 mag . but some people do call the single six with just the windage adjustable sight a flat top , but it really isn't ,
Ruger changed the top strap to what it is now, fairly soon after they interduced these guns because people where breaking the rear sights0
