DOM for sweet sixteen

I have a sweet sixteen that I was wondering what the date of manufacture was. The serial number starts with A and has 4 digits in the 2000 range. The information I have doesnt quite match this gun. Thanks.

  Here is the Browning site with the serial number data for the Sweet 16.

  If your serial number doesn't agree with this data. It might have been a private party purchase overseas, grey market import or transposeition of the serial number data. I have a Challenger with a serial number that doesn't agree with the data on the Browning site.

  The 24th edition of the Blue Book shows A1001 - A10000 to be 1958 for the Sweet Sixteen.
