I own an Aussie (Major) in .45 and a friend purchased a Pointman Major in .45. Both have been extremely accurate and functioned well. We both shoot about 60-90 rounds per week.
I have heard of some dealers who have claimed some problems, but I have not experienced this. I also own a Bretta in 9mm and found it to be accurate (not as good as the Aussie)and have had no problems. I have a small hand so I prefer the 1911 frame. I don't think you could go wrong with either.

take the beretta 92 in your hand and try ti wiggle the barrel.
do the same withe a sig and then we'll talk about accuracy.
Id shot some berettas but i'd never ever woud spent the money to buy one.

I have a Dan Wesson Aussie and there is nothing not to like about it.It looks great and shoots smooth with a 3 pound trigger.Great guns in my opinion.

a very large gun store in louisville ky was one of the 1st stores to have the dan wessons in stock. they cant keep them in stock and have a waiting list for them. the owner puts them up to kimbers as far as shootability. you sure cant beat the price!!! Springfield armory has come a long way also, as far as quility vs price!!
