best way too clean stainless revolver?

trying too get the black off the front of the cylinder.i have heard about a cloth that is made for this,anyone know the name of this cloth and where too get it?any other ideas are welcome also thanks don

    I've tried just about every stainless cleaner and have found that "Flitz" works the best. I have a Python Elite, didn't like the brushed stainless finish, and used Flitz to polish the gun to a bright stainless finish. It leaves a protectant that makes powder residue on the front of the cylinder clean up more easily. You can also rub a little automotive wax on the same area. Either way, residue will wipe off with little problem. Flitz can be found in most good gunshops or can be ordered on the net.

    Some ammo also leaves alot less/more powder residue.
    I only shoot the best out of my king cobra,but will
    shoot all the cheap stuff out of my blued blackhawk
    but then again I like the easy way

    Hoppes #9 bore cleaner works well.

    I have a pill boyyle with enough #9 in it to completly submerse a cylinder in. drop it in over night, the next morning everything wipes off.

    I use Semi-Chrome and magnesium wool pad.

    A stainless steel brush dipped in Hoppes #9 will do the job. Just make sure that you don't hit the sides of the cylinder, as it might scratch it.

    I've done light polishing with 0000 copper wool. A gunsmith will sell you just one pad for 50? or a buck. Beats buying a dozen.

    i use solvent and a scotchbrite going with the grain of the metal, takes some time but works great for me
