Safe to shoot modern ammo?

Hi again, was wondering if it was safe to shoot modern ammo in this old Ortgies .25 pocket auto[?] I also would like to thank all for the infor on the manufacture date and other questions I had about it before.Thanks again for being so helpful and friendly

    If you have any doubts about it, It would be prudent to take it to a qualified Gunsmith, for inspection and test firing.

    We have no way to ascertain it's condition and/or if it's safe to fire from cyberspace.

    Modern 6.35 ammo is less potent now than it was when the Ortgies was made. If the weapon is sound, fire away.

    The gun is in very sound condition ..just got done cleaning the bore and all looks very good inside ........Thanks again for all the Help[:)]
