webley mk 4
ok guys. i have a chance to pick up this revolver. it is .455 cal 6" barrel all matching, wood grips and lanyard ring, bluing is frecking very little. what is a good ,fair price for this one, thanks

It depends if your revolver was one of the models that was upgraded during the W W I era.
If it is a original Mark 4 with 6" barrel, ( circa early 1900's ) it was specifically made for sale to officers. ( Standard barrel length was 4").
I'ld call it $250 - $ 350 if it's original.
You also have to watch out for the ones that have been converted to .45 ACP, by turning off the rear of the cylinder. Their collectors value is much diminished.

That would make it a W W I rework. Probably beside the 6" barrel it also had a cylinder reinforced for Cordite fitted.
Generally they were marked with "Asterisks" after the model number, to denote rework.0 -
