Reloading .357 Sig

Will be starting to reload for the 357 SIG and need crimp advice.
The gun is a lightweight Keltec that may be rough on keeping the bullets in place. Lee doesn't list a collet crimper for this caliber.
Any experience out there?

    I have taper crimped mine without problems. A 125 gr is about as heavy as use would want to use. Be aware that a truncated bullet is about all that will work. As short as the round is, a round nose bullet does not work well.

    I've had no problems whatever with the RCBS dies' crimping on my Dillon550B as long as I feed & then hold the case while doing the deprime/mouth belling/charging/seating stroke.
    Didn't know Keltec had a 357Sig.....
    The original design of the cartridge in question was so that it would feed reliably (most all bottleneck pistol cartridges feed very well), emulate the 357Mag with a light, fast bullet; and fit in a 9mm sized envelope.
    I use Golden Sabers and 145gr Silvertips almost exclusively, though.

    Yes, the Keltec has both a 40 cal and a 357 Sig conversion kit for their little P11-9mm pistol. The 357 is quite a hand cannon.
    Being It's so light, Im concerned about bullet movement in the magazine during the stiff recoil. I will only be using the 124-5 grain flat nosed bullets.

    v35, I shoot the .357 SIG in a mini-Glock; it's a handful . . . the Keltec will be "interesting," I'm sure. I've not had set-back problems with this. I had to look a bit to find bullets which would work without filing for bankruptcy. Most slugs intended for use in the 9x19 have such a long ogive that by the time you have the OAL in spec for the .357, there's insufficient full diameter shank still within the short neck and they *will* push back into the body of the case. If you don't believe me, I have a 1K box of 124gr Golden Sabres to sell! The 124gr Rainier in FP & HP load well and shoot as well as anything else for me . . . a better marksman, especially with a longer barrel, almost certainly could improve on my results with any load, though. I used Dillon dies . . . can't remember the crimp style.
