Info on Mossberg 702 "Plinkster" ?
I just got in a Mossberg 702 "Plinkster". It is a semi-auto, clip-fed, .22 lr with a synthetic stock. The barrel is marked "Made in Brazil by CBC". It is obviously of recent manufacture (and relatively low quality), but I am unable to find any reference to it any of my books. Would appreciate any help. TIA

Must be (2) versions of the "Plinkster". The one in the book is the Model 377. It was only made for a couple years in the late 70's, had a tube magazine in the butt and came with a scope only.

This was introduced by Mossberg last year and I still believe being made now. I have one in the shop for $130.00 I think brand new.

rufe-snow, thanks for the info. I did find the 377 in the Blue Book, but no mention of the 702.
MFI, thanks. I have never seen this one before. I can't find any reference to it, none of my distributors list it, and I don't remember seeing it at the Shot Show. It isn't even on Mossbergs website.[?][?][?][?] Oh well....thanks again.
