Best bullet weight for 22-250

What is the best bullet weight for a 22-250? It is a 26 inch barrel Ruger #1, and has a one in twelve twist. Looking for accuracy.

  i would use the basic 55 grain remington express hollow point. check out remington.com and go into ballistics and select 22-250 and you will get a list of types of 22-250 bullets and select 55 grain express hollow point. remington.com pretty much hass all ballistics and there easy to read.

  50-52 or 55. I just shot one of my best groups ever with the Varmint nightmare bullets from Midsouth, best of all they are cheap, like $23/500.

  stick with the 55 gr or in that area

  Same here 55's are good. I noticed you have a 1-12 bet you can do 60gr's for the long reach.
