    I just bought a colt 44 mag anaconda stainless real nice gun shoots well everybody tells me to put it away is there any value to this gun down the road?

    Perhaps I can help you with the Colt as I owned one many years ago.

    It was from the first Argentine contract ( 1000 commercial pistols? ) dating to the early W W I era. Although Argentina wasn't involved in that conflict.

    The one I had, had been refinished multiple times. The markings were very faint. Since the original contract was almost 90 years ago, doubt very many still survive in original condition.

    If your pistol is in "very good" FACTORY ORIGINAL CONDITION, my 2 cents would be that it would be quite collectable & worth some money.
