Tikka M-65

Just a question to the experts. Have a Tikka M-65 s/n 650-384xx in 30-06 in the shop. Condition is about 98%, action is smooth as silk. Customer wants to know year of manufacture and approx worth...anybody out there know where to look?...or answers to the questions?

  The Blue Book of Gun Values, 23 ed., does not list a Tikka model 65. It does list a Ithaca LSA 65 which was made by Tikka. $400 for 100%, 375 for 98% and 350 for 95%. According to what happens on GB, these prices are low.

  I have the 25th Anniversary addition and the prices are a lil higher...I was searchin for more info from the masses. I found one on another sight similar for $725. I have a $150 tied up in a pristine one for a customer and wish to part with it for a fair market value. Also interested in the history if possible..

  According to my reference, the Model 65 was made between the early 70's & late 80's. It was a derivative of the Model 55, in that it was able to chamber magnum cartridges.
