Additional Firearm insurance needed...any ideas?
I am in need of additional firearm insurance. Problem is my home owners only covers to $12K for theft and I have amassed 4 times this in collective firearms. Does anyone here know where I might gain additional insurance in addition to my home owners? Thanks

Use the search funtion at the top right side of the page and use the term 'firearms insurance' or 'insurance for firearms'. There have been a couple of real good discussions complete with cost information.

CHECK WITH THE NRA.

Fire-proof safes, rated for an hour, on a slab, like a garage. The structure should burn around it quicker than it would take to damage the contents.
A 3500 gallon water tank on a hill above the house, tied to a mini fire-protection system in your safe room.
In this county, everyone on 5+ is required to have that tank, filled at all times.0 -
Try the Collectibles Insurance Agency. 1-888-837-9537

Pappa Cap, just ask your home owners insurance carrier if they will write you an extra floater policy covering your guns. That is what I have, and I have found it is quite a bit cheaper than having a different company write you a separate policy for the same thing.
Before you do anything, at least look into it. And while your at it, video tape all of your guns, and put a copy in a safe place!
Good luck,
