Puma m92 carbine?
I purchased a new in box Puma model 92 that is chambered in 357 mag / 38 special. The rifle has a blued finnish with a round barrel. The barrel length is 16 inches. The rifle has the large loop lever and a saddle ring on the side. The stock has a curved but plate. I have not seen any other Puma model 92 carbines like this. All I have found have a 20 or 24 inch round or octagon barrel and none I have seen have the large loop lever. Does anyone know how commmon this variant of the Puma M92 is and what the value is? The carbine is new and unfired with all the papers.

I'm not positive on this, but I believe that Puma was the new importers name, used on Rossi lever action knock-offs of Model 92 Winchesters.
As those big lever rifles used to be sold under the Rossi name, it seems to me that the value would be comparable.

darn good little rifle you have there , the large loop are a little harder to come by than the normal rifle but they're really not that special, I believe they run just a tad higher than the standard rifle , because of the large loop , about 20 bucks if menory serves me right 0 -

Thank you for the info. I just purchased the rifle new a few days ago and wanted to make sure it was not a carbine I should keep unfired for the collectable value before I use it. It set me back a little over $400 out the door but it looks great and even came with a new bowie knife from Legacy Sports as a promotional deal. I will look forward to trying it out. 0
