    Lyman bought out Pachmayr in the 90's. I don't believe there a separate entity, anymore.

    In the current Midway catalog, there address is the same as Lyman's in Conn. Here is the URL www.pachmayr.com

    Thanks for the info. Looks like Pachmayr doesn't list the shooting case anymore.

    This box is part of the estate I'm helping with. I'll probably keep it myself since Karl said they aren't made anymore.

    BTW, I discovered why Zeiss spotting scopes have those two funny rubber nubs on the housing; they keep the scope from moving when the scope is mounted to the lid of the shooting box. Very clever design. Maybe that's not the real reason for the nubs but they sure do the job.

    Hello good choice on keeping the box . I hope you try your hand at BULLS-EYE . It is a sport I have enjoyed for 40 years and like the "BLIND HOG" I still find an acorn now and then. Your box probablely won't hold a pistol with a red dot mounted on it as the tray is too close to the top and you can't move it down .Then the scope will not allow the lid to close. Do you know if past owner ever shot at CAMP PERRY I might have know him? Send me an email if you have any questions on Bulls-Eye cheers Karl

    As a matter of fact, Tom Alberts did shoot at Perry. It was a long time ago.

    After reading your post, I tried my Model 41 (with UltraDot). You're correct; it won't fit. I'll just move the drawer blocks down a bit. Room for the scope isn't a problem because I keep it in a separate case.
