Thinking about making my next purchase a Browning BLR 7MM Mag. Any owners or previous BLR owners that can provide comments related to BLR accuracy. Thanks

I've owned two of the older BLR-81s and experienced good accuracy overall from both of them. I also have sighted one in for my cousin, they were all 3 in different chamberings and all would shoot 3 shots at 100yds close to the One inch range or slightly over. The down fall of the BLRs in my opinion is their field shooting at least for me, they are more difficult to shoot accurately afield. The triggers are generally only so-so as well. I honestly think the magnum versions are even more unwieldy and a good bolt gun is a better option if you really need a magnum.

Thanks Cletus85 - Needed some help - I get caught up in the beauty of a gun and lose sight of the reason for use. Guess that is why I have to many guns now. Thanks again

I hope I helped some [;)] Don't get me wrong, I still like BLRs and am considering one of the new 81s, not in a magnum though...like I need another rifle[:D]
