taurus pt92
Does anyone have a owners manual for Taurus PT92? I bought one out of pawn and it had no box or manual.I have already called Taurus to no avail.They said that it was shipped with the gun from Brazil. Help!!!

Very good pistol, many like it better than the Beretta 92 because of the direction in which the safety works. Easy to maintain, clips are readily available. Good buy and value for the cost as compared to the Beretta's. But, being a Beretta owner, I wouldn't trade.[:)] 0 -
Owned one 10 + years ago...went back to the factory twice as it would not print a group any closer than 5 inches low and 4 inches to the right. Gave up and got rid of it.
I have fired other examples of the PT-92 and 99 since. They were decent, well made firearms. Accuracy was Ok.

I prefer the Mec-Gar magazines for my Taurus 99. You can get these from places such as Midway. I have put about 10,000 rounds thru one that I have used in IDPA and IPSC competion over the last 10 years. I generaly replace the barrels with Beretta 92 barrels. I find that they fit tighter and are a bit more accurate. I broke the rear sight and I sent it to Taurus and got it back in a week. They carry a lifetime warrenty. 0 -
I have owned the Taurus PT92 and the Beretta. The original PT92 were as good as the Beretta. As time went buy the quality of the PT92 has gone down hill. Some are good alot are not so good. If you want a good fairly priced 9mm look at the Full size Witness. My 2 cents [8D]

I have owned and shot my PT92 stainless for the last 15 yrs, and have not had one failure of any kind. I have also owned and shot the Bretta 92, and between the two of them, I can see no consernable difference. Alowing for the fact that the Taurus is about 30% cheaper, and the turn around time for repairs is faster than any firearm you will ever own from any other company, and if you work with them a little, they are pretty accurate, the PT92 taurus is one hard pistol to beat, all around! I love mine![:D]

I like mine however with wolf it consistantly shoots 2 inches to the left at 10-20 yards, was wondering if I could get an adjustable rear site for it that would slide in where the current one already is. As of yet I havent looked into it. 0 -
Yes, You can get the rear sights that fit and are adjustable, check with brownells, or maybe one of the magazines like, midway, sportsmans guide, cheaper than dirt, etc.. I know my brother has the stainless version, it shot about 4 inches off until he got the adjustable sights. now it is fine.

Well I have to clean it so may as well I bought 2 magazines from sportsmansguide pretty cheep for mine, I just went with the factory 10 round but you can get berreta 92 mags that can go up to like 30 round lol.0 -
had one for a couple years, the accuracy was horrible, but the gun would eat up any ammo i could feed it. i like how easy the take down is and it's a very comfortable handgun to shoot. one of the most reliable handguns i've owned, and it has a lifetime warranty. cody
