any opinions or experience with the new low wall 22 as far as accuracy
and so forth

  The Winchester (new production) 1885's are in my experience very accurate indeed. Excellent fit and finish and the wood I have seen on the several examples I've handled was absolutely beautiful! Have only fired one so far and it was a suberb little rifle.

  The current production Model 1885s are superbly accurate, and can equal the best target grade rifles when fed a steady diet of target ammo. I still prefer to shoot all of my old originals though (slightly better triggers). If Winchester would just go back to making them with optional set triggers, they would be awesome[^]
