Wilkinson Terry Carbine. I like the hands finds hand magazine loading like the UZI. I like the fact it is American made. I like the way the barrel comes off like the UZI. I like the accuracy at 25yards. and, Because its the one I own. [8D]

I was QUITE impressed with Beretta's new Storm...
Since I have been studying Greek lately, I'll give a more direct translation of the Thermopylae Monument: "Stranger, tell the Lakedaemonians that in agreement with their customs, we lie here."0 -
I liked it too but they have to trim the polymere down a bit, kinda bulky. Shoots great though.

I'll stick with the under $200 HiPoint 995 Carbine; sure, it's ugly, yeah, it only holds 10 rounds, but I can hit whatever I aim at, it's never failed to feed or fire anything I fed it, and for the price of one of those "other" guns; I can buy 5 or 6 and have several spares in case it goes dry.

Well, yes, they may be fun to shoot, but, I don't really see many other reasons to buy a 9mm semi-auto rifle.
True, there have been a bunch of companies that have made these, but they all have one thing in common
they didn't sell many. That's especially true for the expensive ones like the Colt & the HK. Most folks, when they get a rifle-sized gun, want a lot more power & range than the 9mm round is capable of producing.
Don't get me wrong; I support your right to get anything you want. But "best"?; don't worry about it. Get whatever you think is going to be the most fun.

I just got my UZI, which I plan on shooting tonight, I gotta say though that at $600 it is much cooler looking and hefting than 3 Hi-Points or that Beretta Storm. I can't say to it's accuracy but it's 1980's cool!!

Hands down the Uzi is the most recognized 9mm carbine. Mags are cheap vs. hk . Someone help me out if they could find something wrong with an Uzi... 0 -
Thanks all for the opinions. I'm surprised that nobody recommended the AR-15.
nmyers, I buy 9mm by the thousand, so I think it makes more economic sense for me to stick with 9mm. I've got my Marlin 1894 .357 Mag as my "power" rifle (okay, stop laughing at me).
Anyway, sounds like I would probably go with an HK based on your feedback. At this point I am not buying anything, but I was just curious what I would get as an anti-terrorist rifle if I needed to.
