K98s??
i just got one and i have a question.when you pull the bolt back all the way is there play. i got about 1/3 of a inch of play when the bolt is back all the way..outher then that everthing is thight as hell. and if it is broken what do i need to fix it?

It's not broken!, I got a Model 96 Swede, long rifle, does the same thing. Long as it locks up tight, when the bolts in battery, ( headspace ),thats all you got to worry about.

Hello 260. While I agree that the young man is a little out of line with his language and should very likely read the posting rules before he makes such commentary...you need to find somewhere else to climb up on that pulpit. This country was founded on religious tolerance, but I also have no desire to have the sound of a thumping bible reverberating in my ears. Take such comments to the general discussions forum or better yet find yourself a nice religion oriented chat room and pontificate to your hearts desire.

The verbal language has enough problem communicating thoughts now without people trying to restrict words. Words are only sounds to which you give meaning, they have no power of their own. If you believe words have power on their own, you belong in the Middle Ages casting spells and other superstitous mumbo jumbo. Go complain on the General Board. This one is for facts.

O.K. I thought I made this pretty clear in my post "Bigride", but just as profanity is frowned on, so is using this Forum as a religious preferences round table/pulpit! The old addage "two wrongs do not make a right" applies quite nicely here. Additionally, The Capt. would doubtless have taken swift action if he had no life and was able to monitor our actions 24/7. I have full confidence that he will indeed "poof" this one as soon as he see's where it is going,as I AGAIN adressed earlier!
