Need a 400 CorBon barrel for Taurus...

Hello from Sunny Fla. [8D]

Thank you for any info you can lend to this question....I have heard of a Taurus PT-945 (PT-400) rebarreled for the 400 Corbon load. The Blue Book site even lists it. But when I call Taurus they have never heard of it and they have no such barrel conversion.....

I'd like to try such a barrel, if it exists. Know where I can find one?

    Faq or one of the other aftermarket houses makes barrels for caliber conversion for a whole bunch of different pistols. I seem to remember at least one Taurus in the list, but I don't have a catalog on hand. Maybe one of the other out there can point you in the right direction.

    Just curious, has anyone ever heard of this? There are at least a couple of PT945 owners and would like the 400 Corbon option.

    Q: Why did you shoot him 16 times?
    A: I didn't see the need to reload!

    I had a .400 Cor-bon barrel made for my Springfield XD45.It is a quality job.Shoots great.
