its still in the original arsenal mummy wrap. unissued, unfired, as near NIB as an ENFIELD can get.

can anyone relate the history of this particular variant???
i was told "IRISH CONSTABULARY" issue???
how many of this model / type made???
when did production cease???
value??? of intrest to collectors???
opinions, stories, anecdotes...

  NO. 4 M II, was the last generation of the Lee Enfield, dates to the 1950's. Your rifle was obsolete, from the day it was made.
  Almost, half million were made in Enfield. It's questionable, if yours was ever issued?
