Bushmaster M17 opinions

The M17 seems like it would be a great woods gun. Does anyone have any experience with them. I know the trigger is not the greatest and the carry handle/scope mount is flimsy but what else. Handling? Comfort? Quality? Accuracy? Whatever?

  Trigger bites, but can be smoothed up a bit. Sights are useless, use either red dot or scope. Accuracy on mine was pretty danged good. Is kinda heavy tho.

  axlerfan is correct. I have owned one and I did like it alot. It was a bit too heavy for a .223 that I would carry or back back with. If you are going to use it but kleep it in a car or truck and will not carry it any distance it is a good gun to have. My 2 cents [8D]
