On the off chance that this well worn rifle is pre-64 I thought I would ask.

  Unfortunately, it is not pre-64. The accepted cut-off for pre-64 is 2,700,000. The serial number you listed in the 30 Million range has not been made yet... last I knew, the Model 94 was somewhere in the 8 Million serial number range.
