I have bought a new factory reconditioned FEG PA63 for a carry gun. Would like to know how much I've got or need to do toget it in real good shooting condition? And would appreciate info on best ammo for target and defence? Any info on these topics will be appreciated. THANKS

  I will be turning 21 next year(Can't Wait!!!). For my 21st B-day I am going to ask for a pistol, since I will be of legal age. I would like some advise on a good one.
  
  My Price range is $500-600
  I am kind of thinking of a .45
  I like 1911's
  The one I have on my wish list now is the Springfield-Armory 1911-A1 GI .45 - it looks like the one from the early world wars.

  did it shoot to point of aim ? and how is it with heavier loads ?

  yes it shot to point of aim. Have not tried heavier loads.
