Speaking of The S&W 645..................

Have any of you guys installed and used the two piece over sprung guide rod from Sprinco? The one that they advertise as lessening recoil, and muzzle flip. If so, what is your take on it? Does it perform as advertised? Or is it a bull s--t story, trying to get in our pocket?
Let me know what you think.

    I have one installed in my P220 stainless. The recoil is definitely changed. I like mine. I think it is as good as any of the recoil spring systems out there and better than most. I guess, unless you can find someone that has one installed in their gun and will allow you to shoot it, the only way to find out if it will do what you want is to buy one and install it. One down side is the spring is so strong it makes slide release a bit difficult on my SIG because of the small slide release tab. On the 645 it should not be a problem at all.
