22LR Conversion Kit

What are the pros and cons of a 22LR conversion kit? Also, is anyone familiar with SOG's kit?

  pro's=cheap way to get a .22 (if you already have a .45), cheap way to practice with your .45... con's= usualy not very accurate (at least not TARGET accurate), not as reliable as most .22 hand guns.
