Old Bauern O&U 410 22
My father recently purchased an old "Bauern Firearms Corp" over-and-under .22/.410. The twenty two barrel is on top, and the 410 on the bottom. It is in excellent condition, and he wanted to learn about the gun before taking it to a professional to check it out. I have googled the name "Bauern", but only come up with "farms" in German. I would really appreciate anyone that could leave some information or links for me. Thanks in advance!

Double check.
Bauer Firearms marked a combination gun called the 'Rabbit.' All metal construction, kind of like a survival gun.

Bauer Firearms out of Michagan has been out of business since the mid 80's. Best thing to do would be to check with Numrich Arms and the other on-line parts dealers to see if they can help you.

Check the spelling to be sure We are all talking about the same gun....

I'm refering to the 410/.22 combination gun. All metal breakdown like a survival gun.
Effective gun but El Cheapo. Cast metal components fracture and split over time.
