U.S. Navy Thermos Jug?????
I have a Stanley Super Vac thermos jug that is marked U.S.N. It also has Landers Frary & Clark on it. Is there any collectors value or is it just a thermos bottle? Thanks

It is sorta` dark green. I found it washed up on a beech at a large lake near where I live last winter. It was half full of coffee and no the coffee wasn`t hot. I have no idea if this thing is worth anything or not and do not really want to keep it. I have other thermos jugs I use. Appreciate any help you can give. 0 -
I'm assuming that the shell is stainless steel. The one's we carried when we flew were a light green in color, 1 quart, and kept coffee HOT for about six hours. Of course, most of it was gone in an hour or so. Collector's value probably not much. More of a sentimental value to some of us 'old salts."

I do not a thing about a U.S.N. marked thermos but...Landers Frary and
Clark is a very old name. They made trench knives during WW1
...for what it is worth.

I just sold an Hogans Heros Thermos on e bay for close to 100.00 so I think anything has a value.
Put it up on ebay there is a special section for thermos and lunchbox stuff.
I measured it and cut it twice, and it's still too short!0 -
