Could you conceal a packet of silica gel somewhere in the case? Not the tiny ones you get in shoes, but one of the larger packets made for keeping cabinets dry.

There are plenty of places for that. Where do I get the big ones?

Brownell's has dessicant packs & cannisters.

But --- you're not going to want to hear this --- responsible gun owners keep their guns in a gun safe, not in a display case. The days of trusting peoples' good sense are long gone. It's too easy for a burglar to steal them; or, they could be misused by a member of your household or a visitor.

Be safe. Lock up all your guns. If your guns are misused, you will have to live with guilt for the rest of your life.

Mine aren't on display, but every one of my revolvers is in a Bore-Store "sock" and I throw in a couple of Plano "Inhibitor - Stops Rust" VCI pro chips. Hope this is enough.

You can also get "damp-rid" at walmart. It comes in two forms, the round discs that hang in the closet and a granular form that comes in a "milk" bottle. They usually have it by the laundry detergent or dish soap....
