Worthington shotgun
I need to replace a stock on a model 5000 Wothington Special 16 gauge shotgun. I have spent hours trying to locate parts and/or information on this particular shotgun. It' a side by side double barrel with twin triggers. the first three numbers of the serial number are C26....( the complete serial number is only that prefix followed by three numbers ) it has engravings in the steel back towards the end of the barrel..scenery and animals. I do know that Worthington was made by Crescent Arms co. at one time. Some one told me it was English.....but I differ with him.Does anybody know anything about this weapon and if and where parts are available???? Thanks......

Welcome to the FORUMS <deadeyesenior>..Looking thru My database I find TWO Worthingtons listed...Theres WORTHINGTON Arms Co. Made by CRESCENT for George Worthington, Company in Cleveland, Ohio... And then comes George Worthington Made by Stevens Arms.
Theres Worthington Arms made by Stevens Arms...Look close and be sure to see the Spelling...Theres ARMS,and ARMS CO.and its all in the Spelling.....My database shows no Model 5000....Maybe someone can be of more assistance than I....
