Magna Porting a S&W .357 Scandium ?
I recently purchased a S&W model 360 scandium revolver in .357 magnum. Nice lightweight carry gun but almost rips my hand off when firing a 357 load. I plan to use .38 +P loads but want the option to use 357. I am interested in anyone who has ported one of these lightweight handguns and how much it improved recoil if any. Its somewhat pricey to have done so wanted some info before I have it done. Any comments?

I know you don't want to hear this but recoil is action = reaction If you could make A pistol with a weight of 158 grains it would recoil with the same velocity as the bullet of a 158 grain round. Guess what it would hurt!!! save your money on porting and buy a gun that has enough real metal "STEEL" to make it so you can shoot it without "TAKEING YOUR HAND OFF" porting does not reduce recoil as much as reduceing MUZZLE FLIP. 0
