"z" Aut. Pistole

Hey It's me again, I have one more gun that I would like some info on. It is a small pistol that has DUO on one side of the grip an Z on the other side. the barrel has Z AUT. PISTOLE R. 6.35mm made in czechoslovakia. On the other side it has a serial # which is 194172. It has a six shot or five shot clip that goes in the bottom of the grip. I would like to know what the approx vaule of the gun is and also the age. I can include some pictures but I don't know how to put the on.

    Your pistol was probably made circa, late 40's, early 50's.

    This was after Communist take-over, and the nationalization of the Czech arms industry.

    Prior to this the pistol had a long history, being made continuously from the 1920's, through the German occupation of the 30's & 40's.

    It's value would depend on it's present condition. The closer to factory original and amount of original finish, the better.

    The pistol has a proof date of 1950. Unfortunately it seems the original finish has been removed,( All I have seen have been blued ). If it's functional?, My WAG $100 - $200.
