repair of russian night vision binos??
i have a pair of 1st generation russian night vision binos. does anyone know of someone that does repair on them, i beleive i have a bad switch,or a customer has fried the element!!!

if it is a bad switch it shouldn't be too hard to fix it. I completly rewied mine because it wasn't working. in old models you should be able to hear if the hv is still working ( high pitched sound when you turn it on) if nut the tube might be burned out. in this case its probably best to buy a new one.
