I know that in muzzleloaders, a 209 is considered the best bet. However, between #11's and musket caps, which would be a better choice (reliability, flash, etc.)? Thanks.

  Hello MUSKET caps have more flame then No. 11's however they are harder to find and cost more.If the fire arm is a good quality & good repair both should work unless you get them wet.If you use pellets remember they are harder to set off.
