It MIGHT be a good deal as a shooter?
If you want a all matching K98 for your collection, go through this list of C & R dealers. Some of them have on-line catalogs. Be prepared for sticker shock.

Interordnance has a mixed record for truthfulness, and customer service.
Some guys get good deals there, many swear they would never do business with them again.
If you want to talk to guys who know all about IO, go over to Gunboards.com and ask about them on the Collector's Forum. You will hear the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Wholesale Guns and Ammo in NY has a better reputation, day in and day out. They are New York yankees, so can be a little abrasive on the phone, that is the way they are, but they will shoot straight with you.0 -
I went by a dealer in metro Atlanta awhile back. He had some of those Russian captured K98's for $150.00.
I went by there to check out his shop because he had a lot of guns on auction here on GB. He's seller ton80.
No, I don't work for him or know him. He seemed like a nice guy though.
