Browning "ACIER" shotgun
My daughter's in-laws have just been left some firearms in a will... Amongst them is what appears to be a browning belgian A-5..It has extensive engraving on the receiver and part of the way up the barrel.. It is marked "ACIER".. Been thru all of my reference material on brownings...Can't find a thing...Any help or info on origin,value,or a place to go for info will be appreciated...

you need a lot more detail for anyone to tell you anything useful abou that gun. I can tell you that "Acier" means "steel" in the French that (some) Belgians speak. But there should be more description with it, telling what kind of steel it is. Best to post every marking that is stamped on the gun, inside and out--proofs, serial number, and model numbers, addresses (U.S. Browning Salt Lake/Montreal or FN Belgium?), etc. 0
