savage 842
i have a bolt action savage westpoint model 842 in .222.....my problem is that i need a magazine, the one that i have does not feed the shells properly.... i have been to several gun shops and i am told that there is no such animal.(model 842).. when i show them the rifle they stare at me with a blank look and shrug......i have checked several guides, including the blue book and can find no reference to it....i assumed that it was fairly new, but i'm told that it is quite old?????....i need help thanks grampah

westpoint was a name used by coast to coast stores, i'll bet this is the same as the savage m-340 bolt action. gunpartscorp.com lists the magazine (part #159260 for $23.40). 0
