MAUSER 1914 DISASSEMBLY HELP

Aquired Mauser 1914 pocket pistol from my grandfather. I can't seem to figure out how to remove the extractor. Any help would be appreciated.

  (2) type of extractors, early & late.
  
  1), Early, has a tail that fits dovetail in slide. The front has to pushed up with small screwdriver and pryed forward, to clear dovetail
  
  2), Late, has projection on tail of extractor, which fits into a hole in slide. You have to put a small punch into this hole, push up on extractor tail and push it forward, so the extractor can be removed.
